The Traitors Season 3 was the season where the gamers met their match. Peacock packed Ardross Castle in Scotland with Survivor legends, Big Brother icons, Real Housewives and Bachelor alums, yet the prize went to the Faithfuls. I followed every roundtable this season, and the story of how the most skilled players fell while four Faithfuls survived is what makes it worth revisiting.

How The Traitors Season 3 Game Works
The Traitors is built on the old party game Werewolf, also known as Mafia. A small group of secret Traitors hides among the Faithfuls. The Traitors “murder” one player most nights, while the whole group meets at the roundtable to banish someone they suspect.
The Faithfuls win if they banish every Traitor before the end. If even one Traitor reaches the final and survives, that Traitor takes all of the money. Season 3 offered a prize pot of up to $250,000, built by winning gold in missions across the castle grounds.
Season 3 added a key rule change. When players were banished, their true role was no longer revealed. That one tweak made every vote murkier. In my view, it rewarded players who stayed calm and quiet over those who argued the loudest.
The finale ends at the Fire of Truth. Remaining players vote either to end the game or to banish again. The vote to end the game must be unanimous, so one doubtful player can keep the game alive.
The Traitors Season 3 Cast
The cast of The Traitors Season 3 was widely called the strongest US lineup so far. It started with 21 announced players, and three “Cage Boys” entered in Episode 2, taking the total to 23. That made it the biggest US cast to date.
What stood out to me was the balance. You had proven strategists from Survivor, Big Brother and The Challenge next to Real Housewives, Bravo stars and pop culture names who had never played a strategy game before.

The Reality Veterans
The gamer group carried the biggest expectations. Tony Vlachos and Jeremy Collins are both Survivor winners, Derrick Levasseur won Big Brother 16 as a former police detective, and Wes Bergmann is a multiple-time Challenge champion. On paper, they looked like the favorites.
That reputation became a target. Most of them were murdered or banished early, partly because everyone already knew how dangerous they were. It is a lesson I have seen repeat across seasons: a strong résumé often gets you sent home first.
The Celebrities and Bravo Stars
The other half of the cast leaned on big personalities. Chrishell Stause, Nikki Garcia, Sam Asghari, Bob Harper and Lord Ivar Mountbatten brought fame from outside the strategy world. Ivar, an obscure British royal to many US viewers, became a fan favorite for his dry humor.
The Housewives brought drama, but they were also hit hard. Dorinda Medley, Chanel Ayan and Robyn Dixon were all murdered early, and Dolores Catania was the only one who reached the end.
Who Were the Traitors in Season 3?
The original three Traitors were Danielle Reyes, Bob the Drag Queen and Carolyn Wiger. Alan Cumming selected them at a blindfolded roundtable in Episode 1. Boston Rob later joined as a surprise fourth Traitor, and Britney Haynes was recruited in Episode 9.
Rob’s entry was the first big twist. In the opening minutes, he appeared as a masked figure, and the players were asked whether anyone would shake his hand to let him in. Nobody did, so he seemed to be gone. At the end of Episode 1, Alan met him in the woods and sent him back into the castle as a Traitor alongside Wes and Derrick.
Carolyn was the emotional heart of the Traitors’ turret. She objected to many of the murders and struggled with killing friends. Danielle was the strategist, and she lasted longer than any other original Traitor.
After Carolyn’s banishment, Danielle was left alone. She issued an ultimatum to recruit a Faithful, and Britney, her old Big Brother rival, accepted. Watching two former enemies become the last two Traitors was one of the season’s best storylines.
| Traitor | How They Became a Traitor | Exit |
|---|---|---|
| Danielle Reyes | Selected in Episode 1 | Banished, Episode 11 |
| Bob the Drag Queen | Selected in Episode 1 | Banished, Episode 4 |
| Carolyn Wiger | Selected in Episode 1 | Banished, Episode 9 |
| Rob Mariano | Added as a twist in Episode 1 | Banished, Episode 7 |
| Britney Haynes | Recruited in Episode 9 | Banished, Episode 11 |
Every Murder and Banishment in Season 3
Here is the full order of exits. Episode 1 had no murder or banishment because it was used to pick the Traitors and introduce the twists.
| Episode | Murdered | Banished |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | Dorinda Medley (Faithful) | Wells Adams (Faithful) |
| 3 | Chanel Ayan (Faithful) | Tony Vlachos (Faithful) |
| 4 | Jeremy Collins (Faithful) | Bob the Drag Queen (Traitor) |
| 5 | Robyn Dixon (Faithful) | Nikki Garcia (Faithful) |
| 6 | Bob Harper (Faithful) | Wes Bergmann (Faithful) |
| 7 | Derrick Levasseur (Faithful) | Rob Mariano (Traitor) |
| 8 | Chrishell Stause (Faithful) | Ciara Miller (Faithful) |
| 9 | Sam Asghari (Faithful) | Carolyn Wiger (Traitor) |
| 10 | Tom Sandoval (Faithful) | Tie between Danielle and Ivar |
| 11 | None | Danielle Reyes, Britney Haynes (both Traitors) |
The biggest moment came in Episode 4. Boston Rob turned on fellow Traitor Bob the Drag Queen at the roundtable, and Bob was banished. It was a cold, calculated move that made Rob look like a Faithful, and their feud stayed one of the season’s main storylines.
Rob’s luck ran out in Episode 7. A failed plan to redirect suspicion backfired, and the Faithfuls banished him. The same episode featured a face-to-face murder, where Derrick was killed in person without a shield to protect him.
In Episode 8, the remaining Traitors murdered Chrishell and told her she was “too Faithful” to ever be banished. Episode 10 ended on a cliffhanger. The Traitors murdered Tom and tried to frame Gabby, but the plan failed, and the roundtable ended in a tie between Danielle and Ivar.

The full season is available to stream exclusively on Peacock. Seasons 1 and 2 are on the same service, so you can watch the full run in order. If you are new to the show, I would still recommend starting with Season 3, because it is the easiest season to follow and has the most recognizable faces.
Who Won Traitors Season 3?
Gabby Windey, Dylan Efron, Dolores Catania and Lord Ivar Mountbatten won The Traitors Season 3. All four were Faithfuls, and they split the $204,300 prize pot, which works out to about $51,000 each.
This made Season 3 the first US season where the Faithfuls won outright after every Traitor was banished. It was a satisfying finish, especially in a season stacked with professional gamers. None of the Survivor or Big Brother names made it to the end.
The Final Mission and Prize Pot
The finale opened with six players: Danielle, Britney, Gabby, Dylan, Dolores and Ivar. Britney broke the tie from Episode 10 and voted to banish Danielle, her fellow Traitor. That left Britney as the last Traitor standing.
The final mission had a James Bond style. Players worked with helicopters, antique cars, rings of fire and gold bags. They added $37,500 to the pot, which brought the final total to $204,300.
The Seer Twist
Season 3 introduced the Seer, a power that lets one player learn another player’s true role. Britney won it and chose Gabby. Since Britney was already a Traitor, she knew Gabby was Faithful, so the power gave her nothing new.
She told the group the truth at breakfast. Dylan grew more suspicious instead of less, because a Traitor could easily confirm a Faithful to build trust. Many fans called the Seer a weak payoff, and I agree. It was promoted as a game-changer but barely changed the endgame.
The Fire of Truth Ending
At the final roundtable, Britney tried to turn Gabby and Dolores against Dylan. Dylan made his case against Britney, and the group banished her. She was not allowed to reveal her role as she left.
The final four then faced the Fire of Truth. Ivar, Dolores and Gabby revealed themselves as Faithful, and Dylan followed. They voted unanimously to end the game and split the money. Some viewers found the firepit ending dull because it lacked a last-minute betrayal, but the outcome was fair.
The Season 3 Reunion
The reunion aired on March 6, 2025, right after the finale. Its tone was light and fun rather than bitter, which suited a cast where most players respected each other’s game.
Boston Rob and Bob the Drag Queen addressed their famous roundtable clash, and the two made peace. Danielle and Britney also spoke about their long rivalry and how the game turned it into a friendship.
Carolyn spoke openly about how hard the Traitor role was for her. A few players also raised screen time, with some feeling their stories were cut short compared to the rest of the season.
Ratings, Awards and Producers
Season 3 was a ratings success for Peacock. Its premiere week drew about 499 million minutes viewed in the US, a series high, and it ranked as the most-watched unscripted series on streaming platforms that week.
The show had already earned major recognition before Season 3 aired. The Traitors won Primetime Emmys for Outstanding Reality Competition Program, and Alan Cumming won for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program. The series also picked up a PGA Award, a TCA Award and Critics Choice Real TV Awards.
Alan Cumming remains the biggest reason the show works. His outfits, quips and theatrical delivery make the castle feel like a stage. Season 3 is produced by Studio Lambert, with Stephen Lambert, Tim Harcourt, Rosie Franks, Sam Rees-Jones, Mike Cotton and Jack Burgess among the executive producers.
